Lili Mascio
born in 1974 in Maracaibo, Venezuela. After completing her studies in Architecture and Interior Design at University Rafael Urdaneta in Venezuela, she has given lectures in Fine Arts and moved to Europe to complete her studies, receiving a Diploma from KLC School of Design and the University of the Art London in 2014 in London, UK, she gradually made her way to a successful career as a visual artist, benefiting of her architectural technical skills, but prefer to focus on free visual arts, influenced by Kinetic and Op Art.
Her primary interest as an artist and educator has been to explore ways in which beauty can be integrated in the arts, using crystals, paper and collage techniques to combine the structure of architecture and the haptic softness of a natural material.
Much of her current work reflects her interest in environmental and quality of life issues, including design, fashion, photography, multi media and a deep commitment to maintaining the health and beauty of the natural systems of our planet.
In the few years since she began to focus on visual arts, Lili Mascio participated in a number of juried exhibitions including exhibits hosted by Meliá White House (London, UK), Accorsi Arte Galleria (Torino, Italy), Venice Art Factory, (Venice Italy), Nina Torres Fine Art (Miami, USA) and The Mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha (Dubai, UAE). Her work is in property of numerous public and private collections in Venezuela, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and the USA.
Since 2015 Lili Mascio lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
