In my aim to build community and create spaces for reflection through art—specifically collage—I developed these two projects, where collage becomes a way of knowing ourselves.
Bitacora of Introspection
s a participatory workshop and creative practice that invites individuals to explore their inner landscape through tactile expression.
Rooted in collage, storytelling, and material experimentation, the project transforms personal reflection into a physical artifact.
Participants are guided through moments of contemplation, where memory, identity, and emotion are translated into compositions using paper, textiles, images, and found materials.
Each piece becomes a “bitácora” — a visual diary that holds fragments of lived experience.
Stories of Migration
A participatory project that invites individuals to reflect on and share their migration journeys through creative expression.
Using storytelling, collage, and mixed media, participants translate experiences of departure, arrival, and transformation into visual narratives.
The project creates a space for dialogue between diverse perspectives, where personal histories become part of a collective story.
